Chateau Diana was founded in 1981 in Healdsburg, California by Tom Manning, a career wine sales professional. After years in the industry, Tom realized that he loved wine as a passion, not just a paycheck, and so he left the world of sales and started Chateau Diana. With the purchase of the LeBaron ranch in Dry Creek in 1983, Chateau Diana had the location that would enable its growth over the ensuing 30 years. The 1980’s saw a slow-and-steady growth that by the mid-1990’s had become a stream of expansion. As family was always important to the Mannings, Tom’s children Dawn, Corey, and Craig all joined the family business over the years, and today even Craig’s wife Donna is involved with the business. Being able to blend family and business and wine is a dream come true for the Manning family, and they want to share the fruits of their labor of love; some of the finest wine ever produced in northern California, with you.
