Thanks to everyone who came out to our (sold out) All Stouts Day tasting with Bell’s Brewery last week! Beers were drank, cheeses were eaten, and knowledge was learned. A list of the pairings can be found below and you can find each of these beers using our Beer Finder. The cheeses were purchased at the Lakeview Whole Foods and should be available depending on seasonality. A big thank you to our lovely hosts, Bitter Pops, and Josh from Underground Meats for providing snacks.

We’re a long ways away from beach season which means it’s time to layer up and crack open some of our favorite fall beers and ciders. Lower temps warrant higher ABVs and more flavorful beers that you can take to a bonfire, tailgate, or your next Halloween party. Here are nine essential fall beers and ciders that we’ll be drinking until Santa comes down the chimney.
Be sure to use our Beer Finder to locate one (or three) of these beers near you. Read More
What goes well with boozy cocktails? Well, sometimes, more booze. Beer cocktails are becoming more prevalent than ever and can be pretty damn tasty when done right.
So we rolled up our sleeves, spent some time searching through the internet, and put together these four beer cocktails for you to try. They’re simple, delicious, and maybe you’ll impress someone at your next party.
You certainly won’t look as cool as Tom Cruise, but your friend “who doesn’t drink beer” will really appreciate you trying to include them for once. A big thank you to our New Accounts Manager, Whitney, for whipping these up for us. Read More

Since its inception in 1983 as the Kalamazoo Brewing Company, a then home-brew supply store, Bell’s Brewery has become synonymous with American craft beer. They’ve set the bar for innovation by making beers like Oberon in 1992 and Two Hearted Ale in 1997. Today, Bell’s is the 7th largest craft brewer by the Brewer’s Association standards, producing over 400,000 barrels of beer in 2016.
And lucky for us Chicagoans, the brewery is only a two-and-a-half-hour drive (or train ride) from the Loop. We went up to Kalamazoo for the day and sat down with newly appointed Bell’s CEO, Laura Bell, to hear why she loves calling West Michigan home.
