As he barks the official pledge, a lone tear slides down your face and splashes into the pint of Rogue Dead Guy in your hand. You are certainly a proud dog owner tonight. In fact, you've never been more proud of your pup. This is the moment that all the previous tiny moments have lead up to: Every time you came home to a chewed up couch cushion or shoe. Every time you stood outside in 0° weather so your Little Precious could go potty. Every time you got nipped because that treat you were holding was just so tasty! Even after two tries at obedience school. That was all worth it. Because now... Wrigley is an official member of Rogue Nation.
And when the photographer snaps his photo, you think, "Well damn. This is going to look good on my desk at work." It's official. You're the best dog parent in the world.
Fans of Rogue Ales are so dedicated that the brewery has an official fan club they call Rogue Nation. When members join, they say an official pledge, perform an official ceremony and receive an official membership card. Check out this interview of one of the first Rogue Nation members to be inducted, Tina Turner... a cat. So in addition to human members, they like welcoming dogs into the nation with the same pomp and circumstance.
