In the 1930’s, Hubert Hansen and his sons were one of the premiere fresh juice suppliers in Southern California. From retailers to the film studios, the Hansen’s sold juice all over Southern California. In the 1970’s, Tim Hansen expanded the family business into sodas, forgoing any use of preservatives, caffeine, sodium or artificial flavors. It was a roaring success, and helped expand the company from California to the rest of the United States. Never content with the status quo, in 2008 Hansen’s made the decision to completely remove high-fructose corn syrup from their products, and instead switched to pure cane sugar. Today, Hansen’s makes diet and regular sodas in over a dozen flavors, as well as club soda, tonic water, and ginger ale. Hansen’s is excited to be able to bring over 70 years of juice and soda experience to the 21st century and to continue to delight customers with innovative approaches to classic sodas.
