Moosehead Breweries Limited boasts a long, resilient history. Susannah Oland came from England to Nova Scotia in 1865 with the delicious brown October ale recipe. After two fires and a couple relocations, Moosehead Breweries Limited set up shop in Saint John for good in 1928. The brewery is still operated by the Oland family today and is Canada's oldest indepenedent brewery.
