Arts & Crafts | Vol 3: Hand Lettering with Frances MacLeod & Ale Syndicate

In this installment, we'll learn hand lettering basics from Chicago-based graphic designer Frances MacLeod while enjoying Ale Syndicate beer. After the lesson, guests will use the concepts they've learned to create their own print to take home.
Tickets are $15 and include materials for your take home print & beer samples from Ale Syndicate, a local Chicago brewery.
Frances is a Chicago-based graphic designer and lettering artist who spends her days designing for mass consumer brands for the Dept. of Design at Leo Burnett and her evenings making art / friends / ice cream.
Ale Syndicate was founded by two Chicago brothers, Jesse Edwin Evans and Samuel Evans. They are proud to make beer that is distinctly Chicago and for the whole city. From the north side to the south side, the roots the Evans brothers have put down in Chicago are reflected in the beers they brew; bold, strong, and full flavored, just like the city they love.
