Our third Beer Club focuses on the most difficult meal to pair beers with: Thanksgiving. Learn how to pair beers for the day where the food ranges from a salad, to a roll, to a casserole, to a big baked bird.
This Month's Topic: Pairing for the Most Difficult Meal: Thanksgiving
The entire day you're eating: sneaking a few things before the meal, veggies & dip, a roll-- ok 3 rolls, cranberry sauce, salad (it happens), turkey, gravy, macaroni & cheese, corn, stuffing, mashed potatoes (we don't judge your multiple scoops) a casserole of some kind and pies for days. The range of foods is quite impressive, but it can hard to pair with the range of light and heavy dishes.
Lakeshore Beverage Beer Expert & Craft Beer Sales Manager Christopher Kolodziej will discuss five different beers with brief pairing notes for you and a lesson on how to pair beer. He'll give you the scoop on which beers to bring to this year's Thanksgiving gathering so you can be the stars of the holiday season.
What Is Lakeshore Beverage Beer Club?
Lakeshore Beverage Beer Club is an invite-only night of craft beer on the third Wednesday of every month. Each month, we'll open the doors to our private bar, #BeerHQ, and share some beers with bloggers, beer writers, influencers, industry folk -- and other people that we like. Think of it as a small get together of friends of Lakeshore Beverage.
