Brooklyn Mash is a week-long traveling festival full of parties, art, comedy, screenings, panel discussions, pop-up supperclubs, all featuring everyone’s favorite brewery. We’ll be following Brooklyn Brewery all around Chicago this week and we suggest you do the same. See the events we’ve picked out for you in this post and check out photos from Brooklyn Limited with Barley’s Angels Chicago in this post.
Last night was a truly unique experience. Our friends at Aquanaut Brewing Co. opened the doors to their Andersonville brewery for a panel on the State of Craft Beer featuring craft beer industry legends and members of the newest wave of breweries. After an introduction from Michael Kiser of Good Beer Hunting, Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Steve Hindy moderated the panel discussion between John and Ben Saller, founders and head brewers at Atlas Brewing Company, Erin Lowder, Eric McNeil of Aquanaut Brewing and John Holl, editor of All About Beer.
We sipped on Brooklyn’s Sorachi Ace and Quintaceretops and enjoyed cans of Atlas’ Farmhouse Wheat and Diversey Pale Ale.
If you missed the panel, you’ll be able to catch the conversation in the First We Feast podcast soon.
And in typical Brooklyn Brewery fashion, the post-panel party included a world-class meal and bottles of rare offerings like Brooklyn Local 1, Brooklyn Local 2 and Brooklyn Silver Anniversary Lager. Brooklyn Mash is off to a strong start.
We’ll be following Brooklyn Brewery Mash around Chicago all week and we highly suggest you do the same. Check out all the events happening this week, including an exclusive podcast & BBQ with Good Beer Hunting’s Michael Kiser on Friday and a free concert on Saturday!
