The NFL season is here! NFL football usually conjures up cold Sundays indoors huddled around the TV, serving up gameday chili or burgers. Well, as much as that’s true, a good portion of the NFL season is still played when it’s warm outside (for us Midwest folks). Why not take advantage of the remainder of the warm sunny days, and hold a backyard football party in celebration of NFL Kickoff, Thursday September 5th. Kind of intimidated by throwing a party? Don’t worry – it’s easy to hold a football kickoff get-together, leave it to your friends at Bud Light to make it easy to watch football with friends on Sunday! Want to learn some inspiration and how to win an outdoor screen and projector for your own backyard NFL kickoff party? Keep reading below!
Get ready for beer, barbecue, and country music, because Windy City Smokeout returns to Chicago on Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14! New for this year, the festival has moved to the United Center Parking lot for more room, more food, and you guessed it: more barbecue.
The weekend lineup will feature country artists such as Chris Young, Old Dominion, Cole Swindell, Eli Young Band, and many more. And of course, we’re excited about the beer. In addition to crowd favorites like Budweiser, Bell’s, and Shiner, the Craft Beer section will be home to over 50 different beers including some rarities from several of our brewery partners.
Want to go for free? Of course you do. We’re giving away a pair of 3-day passes to you and a friend! Must be 21+ and must be able to pick up tickets at our West Loop office in Chicago. We’ll notify the winner via email on Tuesday, July 9. Read More
When White Sox fans visit Guaranteed Rate Field this season, they’ll be hard-pressed to miss the gigantic Goose tap marker sitting atop the right field bleachers. As part of a new marketing agreement between the White Sox and Goose Island, the section will now be known as “The Goose Island,” literally surrounded by cascading water and directly above the Goose Island Craft Kave. TJ Annerino, Director of Experiential Marketing for Goose Island, was part of the driving force behind the project.
“I wanted to do something eye-catching, something that would get the chatter going,” says Annerino, who has been working at Goose for about six years. Drawing inspiration from notable stadium build-outs in Arizona (pools), Milwaukee (slide), and Kansas City (fountains), Goose Island and the White Sox collaborated to come up with The Goose Island.
312 Day is a totally real made up holiday from our friends at Goose Island. Paying tribute to Chicago’s precious area code, 312 Day celebrates the best in music, beer, and our great city. And if you needed more of reason to get psyched about a Tuesday in March, we put together a Goose Island 312 Day Prize Package for one lucky winner! Read More
