If you’ve ever gone down the Lakefront Trail on a weekday in the summer, it’s fairly evident how much Chicago loves its volleyball. So to cap off the summer, the AVP Gold Series Championships will return to North Avenue Beach on August 30 – September 2. This is pro volleyball like you’ve never seen.
Our friends at Kona Brewing will be there, serving up their Hawaiian suds to attendees throughout the weekend. Oh and did we mention they’re giving away a pair of VIP tickets to Saturday’s (sold out) matches. Say wha?! So fill out the form below and cross your fingers. Winner will be notified Monday, August 27 via email.

So if you’re a fan of country music, good food, and cold beer, LISTEN UP! We’re giving away a pair of Windy City Smokeout tickets, well — 3-day passes! — to one lucky winner. Must be 21 or older to enter; winner will be notified Tuesday, July 10 via email.
Goose Island is back for another year of fierce competition, cold beer, and DODGEBALL. Their annual Battle of the Breweries Dodgeball Tournament is set for Sunday, May 20th and we’re giving away a pair of tickets for you and a guest!

According to Twitter, Thursday, April 5th is #DeepDishPizzaDay. And as prideful as Chicagoans are, there are few things we do better than pizza (sorry New York City). Whether it’s the buttery-flakey crust from Gino’s East or Lou Malnati’s or the pan-style goodness from Pequod’s, there is deep dish style for everyone. Sure, it’s not necessarily the go-to pizza all the time–but when you do have it, it’s a real treat.
Our friends at Old Style also know a thing or two about pizza. Hell, they invented the annual Old Style Chicago Pizza Summit two years ago. This year’s Summit on April 22 is sure to be even better than the last two but unfortunately, it’s sold out…until now.

That’s just what Goose Island did for their “Rivalry Series” game watch with Michigan’s Bell’s Brewery. Tickets are going fast here, but you can enter to win a pair of spots to this event of epic proportions by filling out the form below. Winners will receive two tickets to the event on Thursday, 1/25, 10 beer tokens, food from Girl & the Goat, Q & A with former players, and a once-in-a-lifetime game watch experience at the Goose Island Barrel Warehouse.
Not convinced? There will also be amazing beers from both breweries including…
