For the third consecutive year, we teamed up with our friends at Okocim to throw a Pub Crawl in celebration of Polish Constitution Day! Similar to Independence Day in the United States, Polish Constitution Day celebrates the declaration of the Constitution of 3 May 1791 in Poland. And since Chicago has been such a large hub for Polish immigrants over the years, it’s only natural we’d want to celebrate here, too! (You can read more about Chicago’s Polish roots from our visit to the Polish Museum of America.)
A big thank you to each of the stops on the crawl — Innjoy, Easy Bar, Innertown Pub, and Phyllis’ Musical Inn — along with The Polkaholics for polka-ing our faces off the entire night! Be sure to use our Beer Finder to locate an Okocim near you and we hope to see you next year. Na zdrowie! Read More
On Thursday, July 19th, the Green City Market Chef BBQ offered the most divine and delicious bites for attendees to enjoy. Beer tastings were available from a variety of Midwest beverage purveyors including Goose Island, Moody Tongue, Virtue Cider, Founders, Bell’s, Boulevard, 3 Sheeps, Urban Chestnut, Sun King, Jolly Pumpkin, and Burnt City. Lakeshore Beverage partnered up with the Green City Market Junior Board and Goose Island this year and brought Plinko to our lounge area. Guests could win a variety of Goose Island merchandise and one lucky winner even got to take home a Goose Island Bike!
Thanks to everyone who came out to our (sold out) All Stouts Day tasting with Bell’s Brewery last week! Beers were drank, cheeses were eaten, and knowledge was learned. A list of the pairings can be found below and you can find each of these beers using our Beer Finder. The cheeses were purchased at the Lakeview Whole Foods and should be available depending on seasonality. A big thank you to our lovely hosts, Bitter Pops, and Josh from Underground Meats for providing snacks.

There are parties, and then there are PARTIES. Our event with Alaskan Brewing at Moosejaw last Thursday was the latter. We came, we ate, we drank, we had a frozen t-shirt contest, some of us did pull-ups, and one of you went home with a Yeti cooler thanks to Moosejaw.
A big thanks to Britography for documenting the evening and Cody from Cage & Aquarium for keeping the tunes going all night. Miss the party? Bummer. There will be more. Be sure to sign up for our mailing list to receive an invite to our next Secret Beer Party!
Loved Alaskan’s beer? Be sure to use our BEER FINDER to locate one near you.
We were thrilled to welcome our newest distribution partner, Sun King Brewery, to Chicago this week. We kicked off a week of launch events at longtime Chicago rock club, Reggies in South Loop. Many games of pop-a-shot were played and just as many beers were consumed in turn. A big thank you to everyone who came out and for the very talented Britography for these amazing photos. If you missed the party, bummer! There will be more. Stay up to date by subscribing to our email newsletter to be in the know about future events and beer releases.
Over the weekend, the newly opened Park at Wrigley played host to one of their first events at the unique space: Craft and Cuisine. Beer and wine tastings from a variety of producers were on hand, including our very own Goose Island, Moody Tongue, and Virtue Cider.
