We all know Old Style is a beer synonymous with the midwest. Old Style became one of Chicago’s favorite beers throughout the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s and has a storied history with the hardworking men and women of our great city.

Old Style Midwest's Bravest Packaging

And over four years ago, Old Style started their “Midwest’s Bravest” campaign — a fundraising effort to help support some of the bravest and most hardworking folks in the city: Chicago Firefighters and first responders.

For every case of Old Style’s “Midwest’s Bravest” commemorative beer sold this summer, $.20 was donated to the EMWQ Retirees’, Widows’ and Children’s Assistance Fund and the IPPFA Remembrance & Survivor’s Fund. We were happy to present the proceeds of this campaign to the Chicago Fire Department at our Old Style annual business plan meeting this November.

“It’s an honor and privilege to be able to support both the EMWQ Fund and IPPFA and everything that they do for our first responders,” says Anthony Spina, Brand Manager for Old Style Beer.
