With the spirit of Halloween stirring in the air, the team at Lakeshore Beverage put together a list of 5 beers to try before you die. The list features trusted stalwarts, Bell’s Two Hearted and Duvel, along with a few whales like Founders KBS, Goose Island Bourbon County Stout Coffee, and Gueuze Tilquin Oude Quetsche. If you come across one of these delightful treats in your beer travels, be sure to give them a try.

As the Cubs fight to regain control of the NLCS, Budweiser is bringing in some special beer for the fans at Wrigley Field. Brewed at their original St. Louis brewery, Cubs fans will be able to enjoy “Brewery Fresh” Budweiser at Game 3 of the NLCS. The beer was kegged and shipped on Monday, then delivered to Wrigley on Tuesday morning by our operations team.
The beer will be available at the Budweiser Bleacher Bar where one of Anheuser-Busch’s brewmasters will be on hand so fans can truly “taste Budweiser like a brewmaster”. Watch the video below to go behind-the-scenes of delivering the beer to Wrigley Field.

The 15th Annual Festival of Barrel Aged Beers (FOBAB) is the world’s largest celebration of wood and barrel-aged beers, hosted by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild. This festival of epic proportions has been known to pour some of the most sought after and prized beers from across the country and this year looks to be no exception. FOBAB will take place over three sessions on Friday, 11/10 and Saturday, 11/11. Saturday morning’s session is sold out, BUT, we have a pair of tickets for that session to giveaway — ay oh!

There are parties, and then there are PARTIES. Our event with Alaskan Brewing at Moosejaw last Thursday was the latter. We came, we ate, we drank, we had a frozen t-shirt contest, some of us did pull-ups, and one of you went home with a Yeti cooler thanks to Moosejaw.
